We’re a fast-paced, 100% remote company, and we’re looking for an awesome Lead Conversational AI Engineer who will build, test, and evaluate LLM prompts in a small, fast-moving team. Your primary responsibility will leading the team to develop prompts which leverage LLMs to optimize existing conversation flows and data ingestion to continuously improve the chat experience and engagement of our users. You will work with the Direqt Product/AI team to create, evaluate and enhance AI solutions utilized by our products to provide easy to use, economical and highly scalable solutions, and will be a key member of our team.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as Technical lead of our Conversational AI team
- Optimize existing conversation flows and processing of content by updating data sets, re-training, and looking at logs of conversation flows
- Quantitatively evaluate the efficiency and accuracy of various LLM providers
- Conduct linguistic and functional quality assurance of chatbots
- Work closely with Product Management to identify new opportunities and conversational strategies
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Skills And Qualifications
- Extensive LLM experience, in particular with prompt engineering
- 2+ years of experience in conversation design, software engineering, or computational linguistics
- 2+ years of experience leading a technical team
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and evaluate conversational system solutions
- Demonstrated ability to draw insights from user data and use them to drive product improvements
- Experience with cloud-based machine learning platforms
- Knowledge and experience with Python and Nodejs
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics or related field; or equivalent experience
- Knowledge and thorough understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Ability to adapt to quickly changing requirements and priorities
